See the airspace system the way traffic managers do.
Novawings Aviation consults for Part 91 and Part 135 operators seeking engagement and insight into National Airspace System operations and traffic management strategy.
Insight into how the system runs
Most operators meet the airspace system as a delay, a reroute, or a restriction that arrives without explanation. We explain how those decisions get made and help you plan and engage around them.
NAS operations
How en route and terminal facilities work traffic day to day, and what that means for your routing, timing and fuel planning.
Traffic management strategy
How ground delay programs, airspace flow programs, reroutes and miles-in-trail are decided, and how to plan your operation around them.
Engagement
Who to talk to, when, and how to bring your operation's needs into the conversation in terms the system uses.
Charter brokerage with a strategic edge
Novawings also provides brokerage services for clients and operators, with a focus on strategic efficiency and on putting hands-on AI and machine learning experience to work.
For clients
The right aircraft and operator for the trip, planned by someone who knows which days, routes and airports the system will constrain.
For operators
Demand that fits your fleet and positioning, so more of your flying is revenue flying and less of it is repositioning.
Strategic efficiency, AI and ML
Zeb has evaluated AI and machine learning decision tools in live NASA and FAA research. We bring that same scrutiny to how trips are matched, routed and timed.
Strategic, tactical and dynamic
Maximum efficiency comes from working an operation at every time scale and from every seat that touches it. Whether we are consulting or brokering, Novawings brings all three.
Strategic
Weeks and months out. We shape schedules, fleet positioning and routing around how the airspace is designed and where it is changing, with a view from airspace design and automation research.
Tactical
The day of the trip. We read the traffic management picture, anticipate delay programs and reroutes, and set the plan that loses the least time and fuel.
Dynamic
In real time. When weather and demand shift, we know how the control room will respond and what the crew on the flight deck can ask for.
Built for business aviation
Part 91 flight departments
Corporate and owner-flown operations that need trips to leave and arrive when the principal expects, including on the days the system is constrained.
Part 135 operators
Charter and on-demand fleets where a delay program or reroute changes duty time, fuel stops and what the customer was promised.
Schedulers and dispatchers
The people who build the trip and take the call when it changes. They gain the most from knowing what a traffic management initiative means before it is issued.
Nearly three decades in air traffic management
Zebulon “Zeb” Snyder, founder
Zeb has worked where human judgment meets system design in air traffic management, first as a controller and later as a voice for controllers in the rooms where automation and AI tools are built and tested.
His controlling career began in 1997 with six years in the U.S. Air Force across tower and approach control facilities. He moved to the FAA in 2005 at Houston Air Route Traffic Control Center (ZHU). His role has since widened from the scope into airspace strategy: the Houston Metroplex Optimization project in 2012, the ZHU Traffic Management Unit in 2018, and the Airspace and Procedures Office.
He has also represented NATCA in NASA and FAA automation research, including Collaborative Digital Departure Rerouting (CDDR), which applies AI and machine learning to departure reroutes, and the NASA Digital Information Platform through its conclusion in July 2026. In both, his job was to make sure the algorithm served the people using it.
Zeb is a commercial pilot with an instrument rating and an aircraft owner, so his read on the system comes from the flight deck as well as the control room.
Meet us at NBAA-BACE
If you run, schedule or dispatch Part 91 or Part 135 aircraft and will be at the show, send a note and we will set a time to talk. Not attending? The same contact works year-round.
